Normally, it is here that I would talk about all the things that make me stand out from others and that makes me who I am. But, I’m not here because of me; I am here because of YOU!

So, take a deep breath. Know that you are not alone in how you are feeling! Know that it IS normal to have human feelings. Your emotions are real, even if sometimes you are unsure. Know that everything is going to be OK. Everything you have tried in the past hasn’t worked, so what do you try? Where you go? HOW do you do it?

If you have made this far in my bio, then that means you are ready to take the next step forward into making the best changes in and FOR your life.

Change and healing will not happen overnight. Asking for help seems like it is easier said than done. While it can be difficult, it does not have to be. There is someone else out there who is like you who is quietly suffering too. Admitting you are struggling or overwhelmed does not make you inadequate or weak. Instead, it shows that you are taking the initiative in seeking the help you so desperately need.

Even the most successful people ask for help!

So why me? I am a human too. My job is not to fix, take away, or solve any problems; I am here to help you heal and facilitate your way through the many varying emotions and experiences of suffering. By working with me, you’ll be given the opportunity to be in your thoughts. You will get a chance to hear them, gather them, understand them, and find answers to them. I will be there every step of your journey to help you find your purpose and to find the road that was especially prepared for you!

For me, it is more than being just a therapist. I’m not a philosopher on how to

live the perfect life. Because I don’t! I’ve most likely experienced the same feelings you are feelings, so I understand. If I were to sit here and say that I don’t or have never experienced any mental health issues, I’d be a liar and a dishonest therapist. Being genuine and understanding is more important to me when trying to establish rapport with a client. Collaborating together during this process is extremely important because I get to learn about you, and you get to gain the necessary tools needed to find the best solutions to your presenting problem.

You will not be treated as “just another client” but as a therapeutic ally. Together, we will work on several approaches that allow you to address the reasons that are causing your difficulties and build meaningful personal and social connections.

There’s a saying that goes a little something like this: “You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending”. You hold the power. You have the key. You are the captain of your own destiny. If you are ready to take charge of your life and how YOUR story progresses, set an appointment today!

I have a passion for working with children and teens of all ages who have experienced trauma, grief, anxiety, or behavioral issues. All clients are welcomed! Let’s work together to improve the quality of your life!
